Creemore Springs is a brewery located in the heart of Creemore, Ontario. Creemore Springs beer is fire-brewed in small batches in authentic copper kettles. This brewing process along with the addition of local spring water, barley malt, hops and yeast results in the creation of a variety of unique beers. This weekend Atmosphere Medias was fortunate to have one-on-one interview with one of Creemore Springs most interesting employees, Gregory Neelan. Gregory describes himself as “Gopher”. He says he will go for this or go for that. He spends a lot of his time at shows and events as his job takes him all over the province of Ontario. Atmosphere Medias is convinced that he has one of the best jobs in the business. The summary of the interview is as follows.
Atmosphere Medias (AM) – Gregory, can you tell us a Creemore Springs story?
Gregory Neelan (GN) – Every year we host the Creemore Springs Copper Kettle Festival. We shut down the streets and our little town of 2 000 turns into a town of 10 000. To make it even more special this year marks the 30th anniversary of the Creemore Springs Brewery and the Creemore Springs Copper Kettle Festival.
AM – What separates Creemore Springs from other craft breweries?
GN – We are a very homey type of group, even though we are owned by one of the bigger companies. We take pride in the fact that we are a craft brewery. This brings us more to heart and closer to the public.
AM – Gregory what is your favourite Creemore Springs brew?
GN – Definitely, our staple Creemore Springs. Other than that, probably our Bock.
We had a great time talking and sampling various Creemore Springs brews with Gregory. We look forward to visiting the Creemore Springs Brewery in the future and especially attending their Copper Kettle Festival this summer, on August 26th. Make sure to check out their brewery and the festival. You will not be disappointed.
