Boots and Hearts 2019

Burl’s Creek, once again hosted The Boots and Hearts Music Festival. It continues to be Canada’s largest country music festival and it also should be on the top of every music lovers bucket list. This past weekend marked the eighth edition of the festival, thanks to the Dunford family and Republic Live. The results were something truly incredible.

The 2019 edition of “Boots” boasted over 60 hours of live entertainment, performed by more than 40 artists over the course of four days. In addition to the live music there were many other extracurriculars such as midway games, amusement rides, giveaways and surprise special events.

This year’s festival was headlined by the likes of Maren Morris, Cole Swindell, Kip Moore, Miranda Lambert, Kane Brown and Jason Aldean. It goes without saying that the “atmosphere” during these six sets was absolutely insane. The “atmosphere” exceeded my expectations for Boots and Hearts throughout the duration of the festival. As I have stated in previous articles there is so much more to Boots and Hearts than just county music and I couldn’t help but to be reminded of this as soon as a stepped foot on the grounds. Other than the stellar lineup, my favourite part of this year’s festival was simply relaxing in “Trailer City.” Playing cornhole, washer toss and beersbee easily competed for highlights of the weekend in my mind and I am already counting down the days to next year’s festival.

Boots and Hearts is a must visit event for county music fans and festival aficionados. Having many like-minded people in attendance is an incredible experience and something that you should put on your 2020 bucket list.
